Circuit Engineering: The Beginners Guide to Electronic Circuits Semi Conductors Circuit Boards and Basic Electronics- for free

Circuit

In 1882, a circuit war broke out between Thomas Edison (inventor of the direct current system) and Nikola Tesla (inventor of the alternating current system), both prominent electrical engineers and scientists. Thomas Edison argued that the efficient way to distribute electricity was the DC system, while Nikola Tesla argued that the DC system was efficient but that AC was more practical. What started out as a simple clash of opinions soon developed into a major rift. Neither professional would budge, insisting that their system was “better.

In the end, it was Nikola Tesla who won the glory. The reason for this? He was funded by the internationally renowned company Westing house. A power plant was built in Niagara Falls, Canada. If you want to learn more about specific circuit wars, AC and DC systems, and all the important discussions about circuits, take a course on electronic circuits.

What Is a Circuit?

Both electrical and electronic circuits refer to the complete path of an electric current, starting and ending at a single point. It is a path way that allows electricity to enter from one place, pass through several topping points, and finally exit from the same place. Basic examples of circuits include electrical switches (off and on) and battery-operated lamps.

Circuits work well if their design is well conceived. It is recommended that, whenever possible, a simplified product be the goal. With a basic concept, even other (beginner-level) circuit technicians who inspect it will have no trouble understanding its flow. Some systems may be complex, but there is no intent to complicate the explanation.

About the Book

This book is an introduction to circuit engineering. Here, the fundamentals of electrical and electronic circuits are explained. You will grasp the definitions of circuits, semiconductors, resistors, inductors, transformers, circuit boards, and electronics in general. In addition, the book provides electrical safety tips and a brief introduction to the set of skills required for electronics, reverse engineering, hacking, microcontroller programming, and robotics.

You will also be able to apply all that you have learned by starting with the circuit projects suggested for beginners. You will also get a glimpse of the various career possibilities. While it is important to read up on the fundamentals and various theories in this field, practical learning is equally important. This way, you can put your newly gathered knowledge to good use.

If you are not sure if you have what it takes to learn circuit engineering know-how, this book can help you decide. You may discover a new passion for circuits and electronic devices.
