Pavements for Transportation and Geotechnical Engineering Featured in the Geotechnical Practice Publication (GPP) is a paper examining the use of waste materials in pavement structures, drawing on one of the many sustainable elements of pavement design.
Starting from the inclusion of chemical additives in the soil sub grade, to the use of geo grid reinforcement on unpaved and paved roads, to the surface roughness of asphalt mixtures and the freeze-thaw performance of concrete, the paper reports on research in pavement construction.
